First Lady Classic and First Lady Classic FuturityTuesday, November 22, 2011
This event is judged by a panel of five judges, including one youth judge who has gained this honour by winning the Grand Aggregate title from the Canadian National 4-H and Youth Judging Competition held the previous day. After a successful first year, the First Lady Classic Futurity returns. In its inaugural year, the 2009 futurity featured a return of 25% of heifers shown in the 2008 First Lady Classic. Last year, these heifers with calves at side were an impressive display of the powerful genetics at work within the breeds. Come out to see the living proof of these heifers ability and get a firsthand look at the results of careful selection and management of genetics within the purebred industry. As an added incentive bonus additional prizing will be awarded if either last years First Lady Classic Champion or Reserve Champion wins the 2011 Futurity class. If neither is successful the jackpot carries over to the next year and the incentive grows for next class of potential champions. |
