SSBA and Katahdin Sheep Shows
Agribition’s sheep events take place from Thursday, November 24th to Saturday, November 26th concluding Saturday afternoon with the SSBA and Katahdin Sheep Sales. Sheep Shearing demonstrations and Hoof Trimming Clinics Friday and Saturday in Barn 4 will provide an opportunity for exhibitors and spectators to gain an insight into sheep management skills. All Agribition sheep events take place in the Barn 4 Show and Sale arena. |
Canadian Western Agribition’s sheep shows feature both the National Katahdin Sheep Show for the meat-producing breed and the Saskatchewan Sheep Breeders Association (SSBA) Show for the wool-producing sheep breeds. A total of over 200 head of sheep are entered for show in 2011.
